TOPEKA, Kan. -- Jeffrey Silverman, 58, Topeka, Kan., passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Jeff was born in Massachusetts and has resided in Kansas the past 23 years. He had worked at Payless Shoe Source and currently had his own import business.
replica clothingSurviving are his wife of 33 years, Mary Lou; and sons, Dustin and T.J.; and a brother, Andrew Silverman.
Jeff was devoted to his family, a passionate husband, father and friend. He enjoyed karate, eventually earning a Black belt in Hawaiian Kempo. Although he battled leukemia for 15 years, he never gave up, but rather motivated and strongly touched those around him.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Cemetery in Wooster. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling arrangements.
