POLICE in Coleraine have warned motorists, particularly women, to be cautious of anyone stopping their car after an elderly female driver had her handbag snatched.
The woman, who is in her 80s, was told to get out of Dimmable LED Down Light K1018 2x3x1W / 2x3x3W her car at traffic lights when a man told her something was wrong with the rear of the vehicle around 5pm yesterday.
When she returned to the car her handbag T10 LED Tube T10 was missing.

It is believed an accomplice of the first man took her bag and police have asked motorists to be cautious of a repeat performance from the pair.
They have told drivers to only pull over in well-lit areas and to lock their cars even if they are getting out for just a short time.
